Wedding Photographer of the Year Northern Ireland – PPANI Awards Win for Treasure Box Photography
On Saturday night, I was incredibly honoured to be named Wedding Photographer of the Year at the 2026 Professional Photographers Association of Northern Ireland (PPANI) Awards 🏆

Even writing that still feels surreal.
For anyone searching for an award-winning wedding photographer in Northern Ireland, this recognition represents one of the highest honours in the industry, judged by experienced photographers from outside Northern Ireland to ensure complete fairness.
Highest Scoring Wedding Image Across All Categories

What makes this even more special is that my reportage wedding photograph achieved the highest score across all wedding categories, standing out among more than 600 professional entries.
Reportage (or documentary wedding photography) is one of the most competitive and respected styles — focusing on real, unscripted moments as they naturally unfold.
This award reinforces what I’ve always believed:👉 The most powerful wedding photos are the real ones.

Alongside Wedding Photographer of the Year, I was also honoured to receive:
Reportage Wedding Photographer of the Year
2nd Runner Up – Creative Wedding Photographer of the Year
2nd Runner Up – Bride/Groom Alone Portrait
Finalist – Wedding Album of the Year
To be recognised across reportage, creative, and portrait wedding photography categories means a huge amount. It reflects the balance I aim for at every wedding — capturing natural moments while also creating something visually striking.
My Approach to Wedding Photography
If you’re currently planning your wedding and looking for a wedding photographer in Northern Ireland, Donegal, or across Ireland, my approach is simple:
Capture real, candid moments as they happen
Create cinematic, creative images that stand out
Keep things relaxed so couples can actually enjoy their day
No forced poses. No awkward staging. Just genuine moments, captured properly.

From Inspiration to Award-Winning Photographer
When I first started out, the PPANI Awards were something I looked up to. Seeing the standard of work from photographers across Northern Ireland pushed me to improve, experiment, and develop my own style.
To now be recognised with Wedding Photographer of the Year is something I would only ever have dreamed of.
Thank You to My Couples
This award isn’t just mine.
It belongs to every couple who trusted me to capture their wedding day — the laughs, the chaos, the quiet moments, and everything in between.
You’re the reason these images exist.

It’s impressive that Treasure Box Photography won the Wedding Photographer of the Year at the PPANI Awards—especially noting how they captured those candid, emotional moments that really tell a story. It makes me think about how much preparation and attention to detail must go into every shoot, kind of like the way students need to organize their work carefully to get the best results. I sometimes wonder if having something like Assignment Help in Luton could make it easier to balance creative projects or studies while still keeping everything on track. Do you think the behind-the-scenes planning is just as important as the final photographs themselves?
